WELCOME TO WAVE GAMES

I have been involved with watersports for over 40 years now in one form or another. In the early days I taught Windsurfing and Waterskiing and am a fully qualified sub-aqua diver. In 1987 my passion for watersports led me into taking over a shop which mainly sold hardware - surfboards, windsurfers, skateboards, wetsuits and accessories. Within a couple of years Wave Games was Somerset’s core Surf Shop supplying surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits and accessories to the growing number of surfing enthusiasts.

We are located only about an hour’s drive from the main surfing beaches of North Devon and as the Surfing culture grew, so did the desire for clothing and accessories, which led us to move from our shop on the outskirts of Taunton town centre into the middle of town.

With the larger store we increased the amount of clothing and accessories we could offer but staying true to our roots we still keep a well stocked hardware section at the back of the store . Our staff are able to offer different attributes to complement Wave Games. Sound advice on all things surf related can be sought from myself and the lads who  also surf, bodyboard and skate. Or Debbie and the lads can offer advice about fashion, footwear, skiwear and the latest trends too.

Since we started in 1987 we have served and advised young surfers and skaters alike, who now bring in their own children to carry on the love of the sport! Our aim, therefore, is to provide a service that, like them, makes you want to return to our website where you can have the peace of mind that you will always be treated to the best of our ability.
